A safari to the Udawalawe National Park is best undertaken between 6 a.m. and 9 a.m. or 3 p.m. and 6 p.m.
A three hour safari game drive at the above times could be arranged on request.

A few places to visit are the Sevanagala Sugar Factory where the majority of Sri Lanka’s sugar is produced, and the Elephant Transit Home which is home to dozens of orphaned baby elephants.
Speak to our staff to arrange a tuk tuk ride around the village where you can ride through sugarcane plantations and along silently flowing streams and visit a sugar syrup factory.
Take a stroll along the spillway bordering the resort and you will see many birds, buffalo and small animals.
If it’s a river bath that you fancy (highly recommended!), speak to our staff and they will direct you to the best spots in town!
